So here is the shield design for my new combined 375 Castle Crown Knights and 2007 Castle Theme Crown Knights faction, which I am calling the Knights of the Crown & Pennant.
It features a new combined crown emblem which includes elements of both previous factions, the rounded points of the 375 Castle Crown Knights emblem and the level of detail and spear forms from the 2007 Castle Theme Crown Knights emblem.
The colour scheme is also an amalgamation of the colour palettes of both original factions, firstly I have created a new gold based on the gold from the 2007 Castle Theme Crown Knights emblem, though I have added a bit of the yellow from the 375 Castle Crown Knights emblem. Next I mixed a new purple inspired by the pink/magenta of the 375 Castle Crown Knights livery plus the richness of the azure from the 2007 Castle Crown Knights palette. I have retained the blue and dark blue from both original factions rather than the grey and dark grey.
As mentioned in my previous post I have retained the pennant from the 375 Castle and flag and it gives the new faction part of their name, I have redrawn my own version of the pennant whilst retaining much of the style of the original and used the same colour scheme as my new crown emblem to tie both elements together.
One of the components of the 2007 Castle Crown Knights coat of arms that I particularly like and wanted to retain is the quarterly or party per cross ground, in my new faction I have used this as a way of giving equal weight to the blue and purple in the coat of arms, but it will also be useful in the livery designs.
So far I have designed a flag design and two versions of the shield, one with a gold border and one with a dark blue border so there is some flexibility of use. I will also create some further sub-faction shields once I get onto designing more of the knights themselves.
So what do you think of the coat of arms of my new Crown Knights faction? I would love to hear your thoughts on the design.
In my next post (which will hopefully be posted in the next week or so) I will be revealing some of my minifig torso designs and livery for the new faction, I just have to wait for some BrickLink orders to arrive with a few of the parts I need to finish off the samples of each unit I plan to include in my new castle.

Another excellent post on this subject. Enjoying the process.
What program do you use to build your design?
I know you’ve gotten burned with pad printing in the past, but this would be incredible pad printed.
I design everything in Adobe Illustrator. Thanks for taking the time to ready my posts!
If I can find a pad printer who will do them, it would be amazing.
